Data Management
This working group is representing the exchange of views between H2020 Smart Grids and Storage projects and the European Commission’s services on technical, business, regulatory and social aspects.
BRIDGE is a European Commission initiative which unites Horizon 2020 Smart Grid, Energy Storage, Islands, and Digitalisation Projects to create a structured view of cross-cutting issues which are encountered in the demonstration projects and may constitute an obstacle to innovation.
The BRIDGE process fosters continuous knowledge sharing amongst projects thus allowing them to deliver conclusions and recommendations about the future exploitation of the project results, with a single voice, through four different Working Groups representing the main areas of interest:
This working group is representing the exchange of views between H2020 Smart Grids and Storage projects and the European Commission’s services on technical, business, regulatory and social aspects.
This working group aims to define common language around business model description and tries to identify and evaluate existing and new business modelsapplicable to smart grids and energy storage solutions.
This working group aims to identify the main current regulation issues hampering innovative projects’ use cases and suggest future regulations to facilitate their deployment.
This working group focuses on consumers as active and central players on the energy markets of the future. Consumers across the EU need to have a better choice of supply, access to reliable energy price comparison tools and the possibility to produce and sell their own electricity.
